My Qualifications and Work Experience I am 64 years of age. My wife, Carolyn, and I have been married for 41 years. We have three grown children. Matthew 35, Erin 33, and Jason 29. All graduated from Beavercreek High School and Ohio State University. We have five grandchildren. We have been residents of Ohio since 1968. My wife and I are Christians. We are members of the
Beaver United Church of Christ and attend every week. We are active in the
church and I serve on the church governing board. I apply my handyman
skills to church maintenance. During my Air Force career I worked in military intelligence supporting foreign space systems analysis, wind tunnel testing, weapons acquisition management, and electronic warfare computer modeling. My military intelligence background includes electronic intelligence (ELINT) planning and data analysis, overseas field work in human intelligence (HUMINT), and satellite photo interpretation. Assigned to Foreign Technology Division (now National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC)), I worked with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), National Security Agency (NSA) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). My wind tunnel work was primarily in support of airborne laser weapons. Much of my acquisition management work was in developing new computer based management systems. Since my Air Force retirement, I have worked for several
defense contractors, primarily doing software development. I have been a
small business owner, operating a software development company, Effective
Automated Systems Engineering (EASE) which has registered with the Ohio
Secretary of State since 1989. EASE has been engaged in contracted
software development and software development for subsequent sale. Among
the EASE developments was EASE Process Analysis System, a general process
simulation system which was sold to Abbott Labs. I was a member of the
board of directors of Work Simplification Software Inc. through the 1990s.
I am currently a consultant to the Ben Graham Corporation. I maintain and improve the
Graham
Business Process Software which I developed (along with an EASE employee)
in 1989. I also have marketed the CNETT Project Management System
(1984 - 1995) and currently market the EASE
Project Management System which I developed. My engineering aptitude and 20 years of experience give me
additional perspective and capability which is uncommon in Congress.
